WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Our Methods of Carpet Cleaning:

Used for synthetic and mixed materials (such as microfibre, man-made and polyester materials) and woollen fibre

Step 1: Pre-treating the item

Our hot water steam treatment is more advanced than regular steam cleaning and can be provided with our antiviral carpet sanitation service beforehand to improve the results yet further. Before the cleaning itself commences, we will vacuum clean the carpet to remove loose dust. If there are any stains, we will examine them before treating them with the appropriate, carefully-chosen detergent. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee the removal of all stains, as some could have permanently damaged the fabric, making them impossible to clean away entirely. However, we will still use the most effective cleaning products and procedures available.

Step 2: Main cleaning procedure

Our market-leading steam carpet cleaning for London customers and those just outside the capital will bring the longest-lasting results. Even if your textile floor covering is heavily soiled or blemished, we can restore its cleanliness - and here is how:

  • Using a professional machine, our technician will deep clean the whole carpet or rug.
  • Using the machine's nozzle to eject a pressurised water-and-detergent solution, we can easily dislodge any gathered grime or dust.
  • Simultaneously, a powerful suction attachment on the machine will help us to rid the fabric of all excessive moisture and loosened dirt.
  • This method enables us to concurrently clean and dry your carpet without risking damage. In the process, almost 95% of moisture will be removed.
Step 3: Scotchgard stain protection - recommended for high-traffic areas

Scotchgard is a highly effective form of stain repellent which we can apply evenly to each item fresh from a clean. Consequently, we can help to reliably shield the fabric from all types of stains, which could otherwise too easily settle on the surface and shorten the fabric's lifespan. Your items will not only preserve their freshness for longer but also be much easier to clean in future.

Step 4: Short drying time

While hot water extraction will leave your textile floor covering slightly damp at first, you need only wait for 3 to 6 hours for the fabric to air-dry. Nonetheless, we can help you to speed up the process. Free of charge, we can bring along an air-mover and position it near your treated covering as it dries. In doing this, we can boost the airflow and so reduce the drying time by a few hours.

We urge you not to, after our cleaner has left, try removing any remaining stains yourself by using detergents of your choice and without our knowledge. We cannot be held responsible for any damage inflicted to the carpeting as a result of such treatment.

Used for delicate and natural fibre materials (including 100% cotton, sisal, seagrass, jute and other organic materials)

Step 1: Applying the detergent

We start by applying low-moisture powder evenly to the textile.

Step 2: Rubbing it into the fibres

Using a brush rotating at a safe speed, we will rub detergent into the carpet. Once this process of fibre agitation is complete, dirt and other debris will attach to the rubbed-in chemical agent.

Step 3: Removing residue

This step involves us using a power-vacuum to remove the powder and all loosened dirt.

However, we emphasise that, while this cleaning method can effectively refresh delicate rugs and carpeting, it cannot be used to remove stains.

Carpet Cleaning FAQs

This depends on factors including the volume of foot traffic they receive and whether they include stain protection. However, we generally recommend at least twice a year.

Throughout London and its surroundings, we are available 7 days a week, evenings and public holidays included. You can book even at short notice, as our About Us page attests.

You can get a discount on the usual price of this carpet cleaning service if you book it in combination with our upholstery cleaning or end of tenancy cleaning service.

Unfortunately, some stains, like hair dye and particular chemicals, can permanently mark a carpet. However, if our cleaning process doesn't remove a specific stain, nothing will.

You should remove the furniture from the space while we clean it, as the treatment requires just one technician, who might not be able to help you remove the pieces yourself.

No, you will likely have to wait at least two hours. Carpets with woollen fibres can take at least four hours, but we can provide an air mover to speed up the process.
